The gravure roller is a complex product as it results from the combination of several different technologies:

• technical preparation and manufacturing
• body construction
• electrochemical process of copper coating
• final mechanical processing before engraving
• electronic engraving or electrochemical etching
• final hard chrome plating
• test print as the final control

Control and measurement at all stages of production ensure product quality. At Anilox, special attention is given to the technical characteristics of the rollers (geometry, surface treatment, hardness) and engraving, along with an established production flow with documentation that ensures the roller only progresses to the next stage if all parameters are within tolerance.

In collaboration with customers, by applying color management and adjusting the engraving, we achieve a roller that guarantees optimal printing results. Our customers often highlight that with our rollers, they avoid printing issues, leading to quicker machine changes and standardized color preparation, saving both time and material.
